6.0 Reporter's Notebook

Anderson Cooper is a journalist, author, and t.v host. Anderson Cooper first got his start after he graduated Yale University, Cooper got a job working at Channel one news. His job when he first started was as a fact checker, but as the time progressed he started traveling and reporting stories overseas to send back to the channel one news. From this point on Cooper's career climbed to a whole new level. Anderson Cooper has worked at Channel One news, ABC, CNN, CBS, and on syndicated talk shows with Warner Brothers and Telepictures. Different positions Cooper has had is obviously he is a journalist, so he has been a news anchor for different news channels, he has been a reporter, and he has been the host for different t.v shows such as Anderson Cooper 360. I believe Anderson Cooper has a ton of experience with not only journalism but the news business as well because of all the experience he has had during his career. Because he has been on numerous stations he has gained experience for every news job he did.

Now a days Anderson Cooper does a couple different jobs. In 2006 Cooper released his book Dispatches from the Edge, detailing his life and work in Sri Lanka, Africa, and Iraq. The book quickly became a New York Times Best seller. Aside from writing Cooper has a daytime talk show called Anderson Live. Anderson Cooper is also the primary anchor of the CNN news. Cooper's current job is similar to all his other jobs because he still is a journalist. Cooper still goes out and broadcast news breaking stories. I don't believe Anderson Cooper is at the top of his career right now. I believe he was at the top of his career when he wrote his novel, was the host of Anderson Live, and when he was the primary anchor to CNN news.
